Superior Automotive Equipment is a certified Tire Industry Association (TIA) instructor, offering two types of tire-centric classes for employees in the automotive field looking to expand their knowledge and increase their human capital.

Certified Commercial Tire Service (CTS)

Gain certification for your work with commercial tires. This 300 level course is designed for employees who have at least one year of hands-on-experience in the automotive field. As a student in this class, you’ll need to demonstrate proficiency in working with commercial tires and must have your work witnessed and signed off on by a service manager or supervisor.

Upon successful completion of the course (including a final exam) you’ll receive a certificate, 13 uniform patches, and a two-year subscription to Commercial Tire Service Today.

Certified Automotive Tire Service (ATS)

Receive certification in working with tires for passenger vehicles and light trucks. The 300 and 400 level ATS courses are designed for professional tire technicians and cover both domestic and import vehicles.

This course includes an exclusive lesson on Tire Conditions Analysis. Using images from TIA‘s Passenger and Light Truck Conditions Manual, students are educated about treadwear patterns.
